BSFZ seal for research and development CAMELEON workplace

Workplace for electric vehicles

SEHON is regarded as the technology leader in its sector. The company has its own research and development department. Year after year, the company presents innovations that drive and change the industry. Many products and technologies originally developed by SEHON have become established as market standards.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the research and development of the CAMELEON workstation was funded by SEHON with a government research grant.

The external sign of this research and development project (R&D project) is the seal of the Certification Body for Research Grants (BSFZ seal). The seal is awarded exclusively by the Certification Body for Research Grants (BSFZ).

The prerequisite for this is that the BSFZ certifies that the company conducts research and development.

Funding is available for research and development projects (R&D projects) that fall into one or more of the categories of basic research, industrial research or experimental development.

CAMELEON includes workstations, safety technology, accessories and workshop equipment for the safe handling and repair of electric vehicles and multi-material mix bodies. The program offers solutions to problems in the event of accidents and defects in vehicles involved in accidents. Focus: Safe companies. Safe workplaces. Safe work processes. Safety for nature and the environment. CAMELEON fulfills all safety requirements in Germany, Europe and the USA. CAMELEON body workstations are available in different versions. Their equipment is based on operational requirements.

SEHON developments include not only CAMELEON SYSTEMS, but also, for example, the first online service, the first fully automatic air pressure control, the first touchscreen control and the first year-round heat recovery system for paint booths.

SEHON’s development work for energy saving and sustainability in paint shops and paint stores is unique. This includes energy-saving units as well as heat and energy for the entire operation using all renewable energy sources such as photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, geothermal energy and combined heat and power plants.

As SEHON does not manufacture standard painting systems, each customer system is planned and built individually. These systems are developed in-house by SEHON through research, development and design.
