Commercial employee in purchasing (m/f/d) – Plant construction
As a Commercial Employee in Purchasing (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the commercial processing of material planning, orders and delivery dates in our company in Gechingen (Stuttgart/Calw).
What you can expect:
- Carrying out price inquiries and offer comparisons
- Price and contract negotiations, co-design of purchasing contracts
- Triggering purchase orders and monitoring the entire purchasing process
- Contact for suppliers
- Maintenance of supplier and article master data in the ERP system
- Control of incoming invoices
- Close cooperation with warehouse, production, project management and design
- Support with inventories
- Carrying out supplier evaluations
- General organizational support for commercial activities
What you bring with you:
- Completed commercial training, for example industrial clerk (m/f/d), wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- 2-5 years of professional experience in purchasing in an industrial company or experience in technical purchasing or project purchasing in mechanical and plant engineering
- Confident handling of MS Office and experience with ERP systems
- Organizational talent with technical understanding
- Knowledge of reading technical drawings is an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good knowledge of English desirable
