State-of-the-art AMAG competence center
March 2019 saw the opening of the new AMAG Buchrain competence center. The current AMAG plants in Ebikon, Emmenbrücke and Rain thus found a new home in Buchrain. It took two years to build AMAG’s new flagship plant. Products and services from a single source: sales and service for the Volkswagen and VW commercial vehicle brands, service for the Audi and Skoda brands, a modern body and paint center and a completely redesigned used car center. AMAG Buchrain initially employs 125 people, including 20 trainees.
State-of-the-art SE-PROFESSIONAL FUTURA combi spray booths and dryers with all-season recovery, SUPRACLEAN filter system, LED lighting, cross feed, automatic booth pressure control and many other features for economical, efficient and environmentally friendly painting and drying.
Vehicle preparation with 12 preparation stations underfloor, individually separable with roller curtains, equipped with lifting platforms and central supply terminals for efficient and safe working.

The new paint center was equipped from a single source by SEHON Innovative Lackieranlagen. Probably the most modern, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and process-oriented system technology includes two premium combination paint booths from SEHON (SE-PROFESSIONAL FUTURA), two high-end double dryers, 12 vehicle preparation stations underfloor, 6 workstations in preparation, body and finish, masking workstations, 9 central supply terminals, lifting platforms, paint supply room and storage room.
Further equipment and features: Hall heating function in the preparation area, central sanding dust extraction, loudspeaker systems, SE-AIRPLUS COMFORT exhaust system, humidity sensor, automatic booth pressure control, year-round heat recovery, cross transport rails in the painting, drying, masking, finishing and assembly areas, transport trolleys and trailer trolleys, LED lighting, special filters, spark traps in the body and ATEX aluminum pre-filters, complete mechanical assembly, commissioning, electrical installation.
