In autumn 2020, Identica Schanz Karosserie & Lack GmbH in Neuenstadt am Kocher opened the pioneering new building for its own body and paint center. SEHON was the partner for equipping the business. This included not only the supply of high-end painting systems, dryers and workstations, but also a comprehensive energy management system with a CHP unit and a modern process management system for optimum control of operational processes and vehicle routing.
Thanks to the cogeneration system used, the CHP unit, which is tailored to paint stores, not only supplies energy for paint booths, drying systems, multifunctional workstations and universal workstations, but also hot water for the in-house car wash and building energy. As a result, the company achieves energy self-sufficiency of 80%, i.e. compared to before, only a maximum of 20% of the energy required needs to be purchased.
Schanz Karosserie & Lack offers the entire range of services of a modern bodywork and paint store, including accident repairs, minor damage repairs, bodywork and vehicle construction, hail damage repairs, paint work, vehicle preparation and glass repairs.
